The classrooms at Trinity Basin South Campus buzzed with energy this summer as students of all ages tackled hands-on art and STEM projects during the campus's summer camp program.

Younger campers dove into a float-or-sink science experiment, using colorful plastic eggs, crayons, and simple charts to make predictions and record their findings — getting an early taste of the scientific method in action.

Older students took on an engineering design challenge, sketching out structures and prototypes using cardboard and drinking straws. The open-ended project pushed them to think critically, iterate on their ideas, and learn from one another.

Together, the activities gave students a chance to explore science, technology, engineering, and math in a way that felt less like school and more like discovery — exactly the kind of summer learning Trinity Basin South Campus aims to provide.
